The program disk:
10th October 1991
-----------------
This disk contains a demo version of the G4TYF Amateur Radio
Log. The only difference in this demo version is that it does
not save entries to disk, therefore when you 'Close' the log
or 'Quit', all entries will be lost....you've been warned !.
You may copy this disk and pass it on to others as you wish.
If you have problems copying the disk, then the disk could
be faulty. Please write to the address below, enclosing a
Stamped Addressed Envelope (7.5" x 5") for the very latest
Log demo disk. Don't forget to request the Amiga version.
The G4TYF log (V1.09)
Features
--------
o Entries automatically saved to disk as they are entered
o Maximum entries only limited by available RAM or Disk space
o Automatic search and display of last contact with callsign
o Real time entries automatically time-stamped (UTC)
o Append entry (for after the event additions)
o Edit, Insert, Delete or Undelete entries anywhere in logbook
o Find entry by Callsign, Name, Date, WAB or any combination
o Supports Network operation with unlimited net entries
o Print selected pages from log or print full logbook
o Label printing facilities, including radio/antenna details
o User friendly Date and Time entry algorithms
Note....to be of practical value, this program requires an
Amiga with at least 1 megabyte of RAM.
To get you started there is a logbook already created on this
disk called logbook1 which contains a few fictitious entries.
First of all, you should have started your computer up with
this disk inserted in the internal drive. If not, then do so
when you've finished reading this file.
Double click on the G4TYF log icon and wait for the program
to load. Now all you have to do is select 'Open logbook' from
the 'Project' menu, click on DF0: then click on the name
'logbook1' then click on 'OK' and the logbook is ready for use.
And remember, when all else fails...read the manual.
PS. Instructions on how to access the manual from within the
Log program are included at the beginning of the manual.
